After 6 successful editions of TEDxMarrakesh it’s now time for the 7th edition on Saturday MARCH 2, 2019 at Es Saadi Marrakech Resort with the theme “We Are the World – Identifying Identity”.
Over the last decades the world got increasingly more accessible not only for the elite and explorers, but for all of us. Information travels from one end of the world to the other in seconds. 5 billion people have access to the internet – and are “connected”- we are the world. But what does this mean for us as humans, organizations, cultures and their identity? What role does identity play at all in personal or organizational development or peace in the world?
15 international and Moroccan well-known speakers will be sharing ideas and new thoughts about identity. Personal identity, social identity, cultural identity, digital identity, corporate identity…. And how have they changed over the last decades?
THE FIRST SPEAKERS ARE REVEALED:
There will be 15 high profiled and inspirational speakers from all over the world and we are proud to present the first of them for the upcoming event:
- Marisa Berenson (Actress, model and UNESCO goodwill ambassador)
- Niklas Kebbon (Swedish Ambassador to Morocco)
- Saeida Rouass (Author of a series of Morocco-based thrillers)
- Dr. Florian Langenscheidt (German author)
- Zohreh Tabatabai (former Director of Communications at the International Labor Organisation and member of the Director General's senior management team)
