Redha Cherif joins Smart Refill as new CTO

Software company Smart Refill, based in Helsingborg, has appointed Redha Cherif as the new Chief Technology Officer. Redha has many years of experience in software development in the company’s both business areas, finance and telecom, and prior to his assignment was CTO at consulting company Wunderdog. Redha started his employment on April 1st and will become a member of Smart Refill's management team.

Redha holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Blekinge Institute of Technology. In the early 2000s, he was involved in developing the first EMV (Eurocard / Mastercard / Visa) terminals at Point Transaction Systems AB (now VeriFone Inc.). He has since worked as a senior systems architect at Ericsson Mobile Platforms and a senior software architect at Sony Mobile. He also has experience in running start-ups and was a Co-Founder of the non-profit organization Talent Without Borders.

The company possesses unique expertise in Fintech and Telecom, complies with the payment card industry’s highest security standard and is licensed by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority to act as an E-Money Institution. Since 2006, Smart Refill has been designing, developing and maintaining mobile apps, web services and platform solutions to large companies in finance and telecom. The customers are for example Telia Company, Telenor, Handelsbanken and Resurs Bank. This recruitment strengthens the company's investment in further developing services and being at the forefront of technology. Smart Refills CEO Henric Ungh comments:

Prior to his new assignment Henric was the global Sales Director at the Malmö based telecom company Doro. Henric assumes the CEO position on November 5.

Helsingborg-based software company Smart Refill designs, develops and hosts digital solutions for online sales, payments, banking and secure post. Experience Designer Simon Warnolf has now been recruited to the company's innovation team as Design Lead. Simon has worked with design of digital solutions for over 20 years at companies such as Axis Communication, LINK Mobility and KAN.
