ESA:s samordningskontor för hållbar utveckling arrangerar tillsammans med Umbilical Design, ESA:s "Sustainability Roundtable" i Stockholm den 10-11 november 2014. Omkring 40-50 utvalda gäster deltar, bland annat representanter från Svenska Rymdstyrelsen, NASA, ESA, företag inom rymd- och hållbarhetssektorn samt ledande forskare inom området.

A Swedish delegation visited NASA Ames in San Francisco, June 10-11. The group, that included Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang, was made up of 14 representatives from the Swedish business, academia and entrepreneurial communities. Cecilia Hertz, CEO of Umbilical Design, led the delegation, invited by NASA to meet with experts in various fields, such as AI, green building and sustainability.

På världsutställningen i Shanghai under Sustainability Space Day på söndag lanseras de första innovationskoncepten från det svenska projektet Down To Earth. Projektet vill visa hur rymdforskningen ska göra världen mer hållbar och skapa ökade möjligheter för tillväxt och innovation inom svensk industri
