Press release -

Mikael Damberg visits Sigma at Lindholmen in Gothenburg

Mikael Damberg, Minister of Enterprise and Innovation, visits Sigma IT Consulting at Lindholmen.

–We are very pleased that the Minister of Enterprise and Innovation has chosen to visit us, and we are proud of the great interest he shows in the outstanding innovations we have contributed to in the field of eHealth, says Lars Kry, CEO of Sigma IT Consulting.

During the visit, Sigma will demonstrate Coala Heart Monitor. It is a unique digital medical innovation that enables self-screening and analysis of the heart. And who knows, maybe Mikael Damberg also wants to test how it works? There will also be a product demonstration from Sigma's partner ImagineCare.

Sigma sees how eHealth contributes to increased quality of life and therefore chooses to invest in the field. The assessment is that Sweden has a good chance of becoming a major export nation in eHealth if the country is able to gather power around digitization and innovation.

–It is very positive that the Minister of Enterprise and Innovation shows such great interest in eHealth, which will be an important part of the future healthcare in big cities as well as sparsely populated areas. A forerunner is Jämtland-Härjedalen who carried out important initiatives to offer its residents a well-functioning remote care system, says David Österlindh, responsible for the Internet of Things and eHealth at Sigma IT Consulting.

–We hope that many customers, partners and employees take the opportunity to meet Mikael Damberg and will use the occasion to ask him questions, concludes Lars Kry.
