Den femte medlemmen i vår Experts of Tomorrow Innovation Race jury är ingen mindre än Vlora Ramadani. Vlora är VD på Sigma Technology North Solutions AB, ett bolag med etablering i Norrland med Umeå i spetsen. Och nu ska vi få lära känna Vlora lite bättre och höra hennes tankar om innovationstävlingen! 🙌 –Jag vet hur viktigt det är att i skolåldern väcka nyfikenheten hos framtidens innovatörer, därför blir jag superglad av en så kreativ tävling som denna, det är inte bara en tävling, det är en chans att påverka, få sin röst hörd genom att lägga fram idéer som förbättrar vår lokala miljö, att verka för sin stad, hur fint är inte det. Samtidigt får lärarna chansen att få in mer teknik i skolan och vi kan så ett frö hos våra framtida Sigma-kollegor, säger Vlora. Vlora is the CEO of Sigma Technology North Solutions AB, a company established in Norrland with Umeå at the forefront. And now we will get to know Vlora a little better and hear her thoughts about the innovation competition! –I know how important it is to spark curiosity in future innovators during school years, which is why I am thrilled by such a creative competition as this one. Näst på tur, Robert Gustavsson! 👋 Robert är en erfaren landskapsarkitekt och teamledare på Sigma Civil i Malmö. I sitt arbete är han ansvarig för den utomhusmiljö som omger byggnader och stadsområden. – Jag hoppas att vi ska få en värdefull input från våra unga medborgare om hur de ser på sin framtid och de miljöer de kommer att leva i, så att vi som arbetar inom detta område kan skapa bättre förutsättningar för dem. Och naturligtvis hoppas jag att fler unga ska upptäcka den kreativa potentialen som finns inom teknik och vetenskap. In 2017 the Danir Group decided to make New Year's Eve “The International Expect a Better Tomorrow Day”. This is the day we present an initiative to highlight an injustice or imbalance or to share knowledge about an important issue. And thus create a better tomorrow for someone or something. During the first year, Segerpotten raised money for the winner of the Damallsvenskan (Swedish Women's Football League). The following year, the Funkisfonden reported on sports participation’s positive effect for people with intellectual disabilities. In 2020, Haveriet raised the levels of ocean literacy and recruited young sea ambassadors and Femmegineering, our initiative to get more women into engineering and tech education, was launched in 2021. During 2022, Heja Klubben! highlighted the invaluable efforts of sports clubs and their positive impact on Swedish society. The 2023/2024 year's initiative for a better tomorrow is Sparks & Spender. A different kind of charity, where all raised funds go to Star for Life and their well-established work with children and young people in southern Africa. Still today, the lack of basic hygiene products poses a great challenge and has major consequences for these kids.
