Press release -

New Sigma Office in Hungary will Accommodate 100 Employees

On 13th of October, Sigma Technology Hungary gathered partners and employees to open a new bigger office space in the center of Budapest that will accommodate up to 100 employees. This occasion was also united with the celebration of Sigma’s 30th birthday anniversary.

The history of Sigma Technology Hungary started back in 2007 when Sigma Technology (at that time Sigma Information Design) acquired the international company Kudos Information Ltd. Hungary became the 4th country where Sigma Technology started operations, with Ukraine and China joining just a few months earlier.

The Hungarian team today unites professional engineers, technical writers, and technical illustrators. The customers are often global industry leaders at the cutting edge of the telecom and software industries, the automotive sector, and medical technology.

The grand opening occasion took place on 13th of October and gathered over 130 partners and colleagues. Carl Vikingsson, CEO at Sigma Technology Group, welcomed the audience:

“We are proud of our Hungarian office and their tremendous achievements. The Budapest team showed fantastic progress, growing with good speed and delivering stable financial results. I’m very pleased to be here today.”

During the evening, the guests had a chance to play some retro games, enjoy delicious food, and network with Sigma colleagues from Sweden and the USA.

György Nagy, Country Manager at Sigma Technology Hungary:

“I don’t think I have ever been more proud than I am now. Celebrating with us here today in our newly-extended Budapest office are representatives of some of the world’s most innovative companies, from small start-ups to giant multinationals, all pioneering new technologies that make the world a better place, and often relying on our engineering services portfolio. And also partners and suppliers who have evolved with us for the past ten years, and have learned through us that long-term cooperation pays off more than easy, but short-lived successes. And I am proud of our staff, who have stayed with us in times both good and bad, and represent our core values in their daily work. With such clients, partners, and colleagues, I feel we can achieve anything.”
