Sigma makes top recruitment within AI and Data Science

Sigma IT Consulting continues to grow within AI and Data Science. For a number of years, the company has been successful in Internet of Things on the Nordic market. A focus on AI and Data Science has grown over time for the Business Unit working with Internet of Things.

The latest top recruitments in the field are Rasmus Thornberg and Mattias Jönsson. Rasmus Thornberg comes from Enfo, where he worked as a Data & Analytics consultant. Mattias Jönsson comes from Microsoft Western Europe, and the role of Advanced Analytics Black Belt.

Both of them now work with several exciting projects within AI and Data Science as Senior Data Scientists.

– Sigma IT Consulting was a natural choice for me because of the market-leading position in Internet of Things and eHealth. Both have a very close relationship with AI, and by combining these areas we can truly make a difference and make a better tomorrow. One cannot be anything but humble for the opportunities we have and all the progress made so far, says Mattias Jönsson, Senior Data Scientist at Sigma IT Consulting.

– I chose to come to Sigma IT Consulting’s Internet of Things unit because I want to help the organisation to stay in the forefront. Sigma is a market-leading consulting company within Internet of Things, and here I have the opportunity to help customers solve their problems using the latest technology in machine learning, AI, and Internet of Things. I can also use my analytical ability, my knowledge of advanced data analysis and my broad experience from different industries and give benefit to our clients. I am driven by a passion for rational data-driven decision making, says Rasmus Thornberg, Senior Data Scientist at Sigma IT Consulting.

– Both Rasmus and Mattias have already contributed in our customer assignments. Together with our other colleagues within analytics, they are boosting the market where AI and Data Science have gained momentum. I feel that we at Sigma are very well positioned with our combined skills in AI, Data Science and Internet of Things and we get an amazing response from both existing and new customers, says David Österlindh, Director of Internet of Things & eHealth at Sigma IT Consulting.
