Press release -

Sigma to run IT-talent program together with Scania

Together with Scania, our partner and client, Sigma Young Talent will manage a competence development program called I-Talent. The program consists of theoretical education combined with practice, with each candidate assigned a senior mentor from both Sigma and Scania.

“We are very proud to be responsible for the I-Talent program in cooperation with Scania. We are now assigning IT talent candidates to the program who are interested in an exciting future at Scania.
The program participants will get a unique opportunity to join one of Sweden’s largest companies, a world leading provider of transport solutions. Through the I-talent program they will get all the training and support they need to quickly become skilled IT professionals,”
says Elin Hölcke, Managing Director at Sigma Young Talent.

All positions are located at Scania in Södertälje. The program spans over six months and has two intakes, at the beginning of February and March 2018. The competence areas are within System Development, Testing/Test Automation, Business Intelligence and Requirement Analysis.

“We are looking for IT graduates who have the potential and desire to become T-shaped IT professionals at Scania. This means having the ability and the drive to acquire knowledge both in an overall perspective and build deeper capability in a specialist area. Applicants should hold a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree,“ says Johan Ward, Business Unit Manager at Sigma Young Talent, Stockholm.

Ingvor Hoffström, Head of Human Resources Scania IT concludes:
“Scania sees great value in adding Sigma's experience and knowledge to this program and we appreciate how they contribute to the development of Scania's future IT professionals.”
