Sigma IT turns their eyes to the west – to the other side of the Atlantic

– With Sigma's specialist services, we can offer our customers in the US an entirety within development and management, as well as off-shore deliveries. Sigma is well known on the Swedish market for its strong entrepreneurial spirit and innovation power. Lately, various companies in the US, have taken a great deal of interest regarding our services.

The words are David Österlindh’s, who will lead Sigma IT’s latest investment in the US.

– It feels very inspiring to have been given the trust to lead Sigma's latest venture in the US. For quite some time, we have done thorough research; from which region we are going to start establishing, to meeting potential customers and partners. Everyone has shown great interest in Swedish engineering and the fact that we are now making it available in the US. It is no secret that American companies invest heavily in IoT and AI, and in addition, we will also offer the entire Sigma portfolio of other services and products. In my opinion, that makes us one of the strongest players in the market, says David Österlindh.

The pressure is high on the American market and many companies turn their eyes outside the US to get the best expertise available. Sigma IT has in recent years established collaboration with a number of prominent companies and is now also taking the step to embark /launch operations in the US. The first office opens in Seattle, much due to the successful collaboration with Microsoft.

– For us, our customers' needs and success are our top priorities, and an establishment in the US is important to be able to meet the demand that we see in that market. For a long time, we have analysed the US market and the need for IoT and AI expertise is greater than ever, and therefore our establishment is just right in time.

To succeed with the establishment, drive, commitment and entrepreneurship are key components. Appointing David to lead our operations in the United States feels natural as he possesses all these features. I know he will make a big difference to our customers in the US, but also in our own business in Sweden, says Lars Kry, CEO Sigma IT.
