New direct route from Gothenburg to Tallinn with Nordica

In August the Estonian airline Nordica is launching a direct route between Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and Tallinn. The route is operated six times weekly and offers a convenient service for both leisure travellers and the business communities of western Sweden and Estonia.

- We are pleased to add Tallinn to our list of international destinations offered from Gothenburg. We know that this route will be appreciated by the business travelers in western Sweden who today must travel to Tallinn via Stockholm or Helsinki. We are also looking forward to welcome the Estonian visitors to Gothenburg which is a perfect city break destination, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Airport Director at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.

- Nordica is now expanding its range of destination to Gothenburg, Sweden's second largest city, to attract both business and leisure travelers. There has been a lot of interest in this route and the number of passengers is expected to be high. Estonia has strong business connections with Sweden and this route will certainly offer new opportunities for businessmen in both countries, says Kristel Penu, Chief Commercial Officer at Nordica.

Nordica will launch its year-round flights to Gothenburg Landvetter on 28th August, with morning departures from Tallinn (except on Sundays) returning in the evening (except on Saturdays). The flights will be operated with 88-seat CR9 aircraft. Travel time will be approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes. Nordica will operate the route in cooperation with LOT Polish Airlines.
