Dulux Decorator Centre Catford donates product vouchers to 999 Club

To celebrate the official store opening on Chiltonian Industrial Estate, Dulux Decorator Centre Catford has pledged to donate £500 of vouchers for products to the 999 Club, to help support the work of the charity to provide services and activities for homeless and vulnerable people in the local area.

Joseph McKellar, Store Manager of Dulux Decorator Centre Catford, met with Dr Louisa Snow from the 999 Club at the official grand opening on the 30th April.

The charity has worked in the community since 1993, with services designed to support homeless and vulnerable people across Lewisham and South East London.

Painters, decorators and members of the local community were welcomed to the new Dulux Decorator Centre on the Chiltonian industrial estate by the famous Dulux dog, representatives from the 999 Club and with a great British breakfast bacon roll.

Customers who attended the grand opening, also received double nectar points on any purchases made and a complimentary goody bag including a t-shirt, travel mug, beanie, paintbrush and more.

Tim Fallon, Chief Executive of the 999 Club, said: “We are grateful to Dulux Decorator Centre for this generous donation, which will be given to some people who have experienced homelessness to help decorate their new accommodation.”

Joseph McKellar adds: “Opening our Catford store is an exciting move and the team and I can’t wait to support the area, starting with the amazing work that the incredible team at the 999 Club does.

“We hope that the store will really become part of the local community and that our experienced store colleagues can lend a hand where possible.”
