ALLIANZ SIGNS WITH SCALEPOINT

Allianz Insurance has today announced that it has signed a new three-year contract with claims management provider, Scalepoint.

Allianz has been working in partnership with Scalepoint over the past three years and is the only insurer in the UK to use its technology. The new deal will continue to provide Allianz with access to Scalepoint’s innovative claims validation and settlement system, which will increase efficiency and reduce the claims lifecycle.

This cutting-edge technology enables Allianz’s home insurance customers to choose their contents replacement models from an online shop, using an account which is credited with the value of their claims settlement.

Customers also have the option to purchase vouchers that can be used at a wide range of high street stores, should they not be able to find the appropriate replacement online.

Ian Guest, property claims supply manager at Allianz, said: "Improving our customers’ claims experience is a key priority and we have worked closely with Scalepoint to create a system that will allow for an even smoother claims process by giving customers greater choice of how their claim is settled."
