ALLIANZ WELCOMES NEW SENIOR RETAIL ACTUARY

Allianz has announced the appointment of John Berry as senior Retail actuary.

In his new role John will be leading a team of actuaries and analysts working across pricing, reserving and corporate planning for all Retail lines of business. The team will be responsible for bringing innovations in analytics as well as process improvements.

John commented: “This is an excellent opportunity and I am looking forward to working for the UK Retail business at a time of exciting growth.”

Before joining Allianz, John worked for both Towers Watson and EMB as senior consultant covering retail lines in the UK and overseas. He specialised in pricing, underwriting, product, data and strategy, and gained experience across many retail products and distribution channels.
