High net worth insurance specialist, Home & Legacy, has announced that specialist insurer, Ecclesiastical, has joined its household underwriting panel.

As of February 1st 2017, Ecclesiastical will compete with existing panel members to underwrite Home & Legacy’s Ultra Home and Ultimate Home products.

Commenting on the partnership Home & Legacy Underwriting & Markets Director, Adrian Ewington, said: “A-rated Ecclesiastical has a strong tradition in listed property and fine art insurance and is trusted by both policyholders and brokers in this market, so we are delighted to announce our partnership. The addition of Ecclesiastical complements Home & Legacy’s high net worth panel – broadening our footprint even further and ultimately, demonstrating our ambition to write even more business at the very top end of the high net worth market.”

He added: “Home & Legacy’s unique panel arrangement provides brokers with access to exclusive rates from a number of top insurers. This flexibility allows us to quote for 96% of the risks we are presented with: from the type of risks that brokers can process via our e-trade platform to complex risks that require manual underwriting.”

Ecclesiastical Commercial Director, Adrian Saunders, commented: “We are delighted to be joining the Home & Legacy panel; it’s a really exciting opportunity to further develop our Art & Private Client business through diversifying distribution and being part of Home & Legacy's success story.”
