Arla Foods amba is reducing its global on-account milk price by €1.5 cents, with effect from 28 April 2014. This reduces Arla’s standard litre price in the UK by 1.27ppl taking it to 33.74 pence per litre.

Arla Foods amba is increasing its on-account milk price to its 13,500 global farmer owners, of which 2,800 are British dairy farmers.
Growth and efficiencies characterised the first half of 2012. Major agreements have paved the way for significant opportunities for Arla in Germany, the UK and China, and previous mergers and acquisitions have delivered efficiencies across the organisation.
Arla Foods amba has purchased the remaining shares of the UK subsidiary, Arla Foods UK plc, which has subsequently been delisted from the London Stock Exchange. As of today, the UK subsidiary is fully owned by Arla Foods amba.
