Minister visit at ESVAGT

Ministers of Energy and wind industry executives experienced offshore wind innovation with a sail in ESVAGT's STB 12.

The wind energy conference North Seas Energy Days in Esbjerg gathered the Ministers of Energy from the North Sea and wind industry executives to debate the vision of a Silicon Valley for offshore wind in the North Sea.

This is a vision that requires new technology and innovative solutions, which the Ministers gained an insight into during their visit to ESVAGT, a company that has set new standards within efficient operation of offshore wind farms through its innovative SOV concept. ESVAGT also invited participants on a tour of the ’Esvagt Innovator’ and a sail onboard ESVAGT’s STB 12 and FRBs.

ESVAGT to develop new business areas

ESVAGT will extend its portfolio of services with new business areas and partnerships.

ESVAGT recently sold the 'Esvagt Supporter'. The vessel’s operation in the wind farm Belwind laid the foundations for the SOV concept that has made ESVAGT today’s market leader in servicing offshore wind turbine farms.

ESVAGT’s first wind vessel has retired but the legacy of the ‘Esvagt Supporter' lives on in the many SOV vessels in the shipping company.
