Wizz Air announces new route to Constanta from London Luton

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe*, today announced commencement of flights to Constanta. From 15 June, 2015, Wizz Air will offer a new twice weekly service from London Luton to Constanta, on the shores of the Black Sea.

This is the 14th new route to be announced from London Luton this year and the third from Wizz Air, the second largest carrier at the Airport.

Wizz Air’s first service from London to Constanta will help stimulate local tourism with UK travelers now able to travel to the popular Black Sea coast on Wizz Air’s low fares.

Tickets on Wizz Air’s newest route are already on sale and can be booked at wizzair.com starting from £25,99**.

Wizz Air’s spokesman Daniel de Carvalho said: "With this new Constanta route we aim to stimulate tourism and business relations and allow low fare access to the beautiful Romanian Black Sea coast. In addition, our Romanian customers can avail of another link to the UK capital. Flights operate on Mondays and Fridays creating an ideal opportunity for weekend getaways.

Our Constanta operation will add to our Romanian offer as we aim to continue to be the airline of choice for Romanian consumers and their visitors."
