Faces. A spiritual painting representing position, self reflection and direction in life.

The more you are towards the light the more colourful and brighter life becomes. The further away the darker and more monotone. 

You can be in darkness and look towards the Light (hope) and you can be close to The light and have your face turned away (per example man of good will or man absorbed by the world). 

It is a good way to look to the picture and at oneself and say... 

Where do I stand?

Mas.S is my artist name. Throughout a full life mixed with physical, emotional and mental suffering I have always experienced the presence of Jesus. A New Dawn!! A painting by Mas.S reminding us that we live in and by the day.

Today is a new day! Full of opportunities and chances. In his very particular and own style Mas.S depicted this feat. In his own life, handicapped by physical and mental restraint, he uses "Archie" to show his view on how we could live this way. What do we do with every given day? Rush in? Preoccupied? Driven? Mas.s feels we are all called, called to live, live to the full, live whilst you can!

Isolation! An artistic painting touching upon the current affairs of care (homes), personal health, and relationships.

Mas.S has again depicted a hot topic in today's fast moving Western society in his own unique way. There is little or no time for oneself or ones neighbour. He states that "isolation is the cause of many, many deaths" and challenges the general ideas of "mind over body", "number one" stating that the root can be found, starting with oneself and not outside. "Isolation is just a status. Care!"

Hello my friend!! A painting depicting our tendency to look at somebody in a materialistic way, losing sight of reality. Touching upon the bankingscandal and financial crisis.

Artist Mas.s is again touching upon a hot topic in society.He says "The economic crisis, the banking scandals the public lying are all rooted in greed and envy.It happens because there is no moral obligation to tell the truth any more, starting within oneself.Honesty and courage are the pillars underneath someone's life and society at large.It is also the most difficult task, for ever challenged."

"Art of the mind" Mas.s is showing in this curated art competition in the Tuscany from the 15th to the 22 nd of September.

International recognition of mas.s is coming.After his successful show in Basel in June he is now exhibiting three of his works in the Tuscany.It is his unique style in portraying important but often neglected questions and sentiments that draws attention from art critics and curators.A show in Mayfair, London and attention and invitations from various art galleries in New York are next.
