Woman who died in Speke collision named

We can confirm the woman who died following a collision on Hale Drive last night (28 February 2019) was Claire Killey, 45 years, from the Childwall area.

Following a collision in Hale Drive, Speke last night (Thursday, 28 February), Merseyside Police can confirm the 45-year-old female cyclist died.

The woman’s family has been informed. A second injured man, aged 39 years, remains in a critical but stable condition.

A 21-year-old man from Halewood has been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving and serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody at this time.
