New SIL-certified signal conditioners
Phoenix Contact adds four new input-loop-powered passive conditioners to its MACX Analogue product range of SIL-certified signal conditioners. The devices enable secure signal transmission without additional auxiliary power.
The single- and two-channel variants are available with a cut-off voltage of 2.5 kV or 5 kV. There are now two more Ex i NAMUR signal conditioners with resistive output behaviour for line error transparency and two Ex-i solenoid drivers with a logical input for line error transparency and/or recognition.
In all phases of the product lifecycle, MACX Analogue signal conditioners have been developed and produced according to standards for functional safety. The certified products are available in all safety-related applications up to SIL 2 or SIL 3. This means a high level of reliability and safety. The MACX Analogue Ex i signal conditioners are also ATEX- and IEC Ex-approved.. They offer explosion protection for all Ex zones and for all gas and dust groups.
