Business Facilities at Stoke Park

Stoke Park offers a truly memorable setting for business events of all kinds. From meetings to teambuilding days, the estate offers a fantastic array of facilities. In addition to the nine function rooms and fantastic catering already available, Stoke Park has been busy improving what is on offer.

A new event space has been added in the form of a woodland clearing. The woodland area is being cleared and landscaped to become a versatile events space. We have put in a tarmac road to make it easily accessible although it is near enough to both the Mansion and Pavilion buildings to be reached on foot. The space measures 100m x 50m and there is potential for a marquee to be erected. It provides a great new option for teambuilding activities such as laser pigeon shooting as well as evening events such as outdoor cinema screenings. Enchanting woodland dinners beckon in a space where imagination is the only limit.

A brand new marquee measuring 40m x 15m increases the scope for large scale events at Stoke Park. Its elegant design, 3m high windows and arched roof fit perfectly with the classic beauty of Stoke Park’s mansion. At full capacity it will be able to hold 650 people and can hold 400 with a dancefloor. The setup cost of this marquee is £20,000+VAT (without furniture) but if an event takes place during a time when the marquee is already in place the hire fee will be £5000 per day dry hire. It is a fantastic resource for large events at Stoke Park.

At a time when technology and the environment are both high profile issues, Stoke Park wanted to make a meaningful commitment to support eco-friendly advancements. In line with this, four electric car charging points have been installed. Stoke Park is the first 5 star hotel in the UK to offer this service. The points operate on a slow feed and will be available for guests to use free of charge.

These new facilities complement the nine function rooms previously available. These rooms offer a sumptuous setting for meetings, conferences and dinners for as many as 144. Whatever use is being made of the room it is always an excellent idea to take advantage of all on offer at Stoke Park.

Executive Chef Chris Wheeler offers a superb, mouthwatering Banqueting Menu as well as the 2 AA rosette Modern British cuisine served up in Humphry’s, his fine dining restaurant. Added to this are The Orangery, for relaxed all-day dining, and San Marco, with its healthy and delicious Italian brasserie menu.

Stoke Park’s superb sporting facilities also offer a great option for corporate guests. The 27 hole Championship golf course is world-renowned for its Harry Colt design and immaculate greens; a golf day can be tailored to your needs. Stoke Park also offers top class practice facilities, including a short game area and a Pro V1 swing studio with the latest video technology, allowing a golfer’s swing to be analysed during a lesson. Stoke Park has invested more than £250,000 on new equipment and machinery to improve the golf facilities in 2012. These practice facilities mean that a golf clinic is another amazing option for a corporate event.

Stoke Park also offers tennis clinics with their resident Professionals. These can be tailored to suit but generally offer a group lesson followed by a round-robin tournament. There are 13 tennis courts on site, including the six Wimbledon standard grass courts which are used for the annual Boodles Tennis Tournament.

This event, held the week before Wimbledon, sees the likes Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray play as part of their grass court preparations. Already confirmed to play in this year’s tournament are Juan Martin Del Potro, Richard Gasquet, John Isner, Gael Monfils, Alexandr Dolgopolov and Stanislas Wawrinka. The Boodles showcases world class tennis in an intimate country garden environment where no spectator is more than 8m from the court. This event is a fantastic option for hospitality, imagine a client’s reaction when they enjoy an intimate Q&A with the players over lunch.

Whatever the type of event required, Stoke Park has something to offer. The friendly Events Team work with organisers every step of the way to make sure that everything is perfect on the day.

With so much on offer, it is a good idea to extend your time at Stoke Park and make use of one of the 49 luxurious bedrooms and suites on offer. The Mansion building is home to 21 timelessly elegant rooms, furnished with priceless antiques and open fires. Over in the Pavilion, there are another 28 rooms. These are decorated with a chic, modern feel – Warhol prints and Marylin Monroe posters adorn the walls. In both buildings, guests will be able to unwind in unparalleled luxury including spacious and beautiful marble bathrooms.

The Pavilion is also home to a state of the art gym with fitness and spinning studios; Personal Trainers are also on hand to make sure you get the most out of the equipment. With your workout done, the heated indoor swimming pool is the perfect place for you to wind down. Relax further with a stroll through the 14 acres of private gardens or a visit to the spa. Luxurious treatments abound at Stoke Park, which has 11 treatment rooms behind a stunning atrium with a 15 metre tropical aquarium.
