Sting heads up star support for stroke
Grammy award winning singer songwriter and music legend, Sting is supporting the Stroke Association’s latest campaign, Change The Story.
The charity’s latest fundraising campaign aims to highlight the underfunding of stroke research and calls on people to donate to stroke research so that we can change the story for stroke and stroke survivors.
Sting said: “The Stroke Association excels at telling and sharing stories – stories of stroke survivors, desperately trying to overcome the devastating impact of this cruel condition. The Stroke Association wants to change the story for stroke survivors, by making sure they get the medical care, rehabilitation and support they need. But the charity can't do it alone. They desperately need funds to continue to change the lifesaving research to help people make their best recovery. So join me and help The Stroke Association change the story for stroke.”
Former BBC Newsnight presenter and broadcaster Jeremy Paxman and Michael Lynagh are also backing the Stroke Association’s campaign to change the story for stroke survivors.
