Carl Morris Co- Founder Of Yard & Coop joins Exp101

Carl Morris is a Co-founder and Director of Yard & Coop, 'The home of buttermilk fried chicken' in the UK.

Yard & Coop is an emerging bar & restaurant brand with three restaurants based in the north/north west of England with sites in Manchester, Liverpool & Leeds. Yard & Coop also operate temporary pop up operations in 'dark kitchens' and sites such as Manchester University Campus.

Focusing on Booze & Chicken, Yard & Coop sits in the 'fast-casual' sector with a business concentrated on people and quality of product. The company's mission statement reflects this as 'We Like To Make People Happy' with a promise to deliver the 'Best Chicken With The Biggest Smile'.

Yard & Coop is independently owned by Carl Morris and his business partner Laura Morris, both have an ambitious plan to grow the business into a national brand with supporting food and drink offshoots that reflect their expertise in booze & chicken.

Previous to Yard & Coop Carl Morris studied a Masters in Communication Design in Manchester and for 6 years created and promoted extremely popular club nights in Manchester and around the country. Then developed his experience in the hospitality industry by joining, the now named, Revolution Bard Group PLC where he grew and established Revolution & Revolution De Cuba as a market leading operator with over 100 bars.
