Subtly minimalistic and stylish – Dawn taps & fitting range extended

The design of the comprehensive Dawn taps & fittings range from Villeroy & Boch speaks a clear language: consciously minimalistic, the high-quality taps & fittings offer a wealth of design options for all contemporary bathrooms. The panel of judges for the renowned iF DESIGN AWARD, which crowned Dawn with its internationally acclaimed label for good design in 2017, was also impressed. In 2019 the range will be joined by one more colour option and new operating buttons. This makes the Dawn taps & fittings even more versatile for use in high-quality private and public buildings.

Stylish design

The new finish Dune gives the taps & fittings a very elegant and modern look with its subtle nude shade. In future, all Dawn models will be available with this finish. The new operating buttons suit the existing stand and wall-mounted tap fittings in the range as their design works well with rounded and angular lines. The geometry of a rhombus was harmoniously “rounded off” and transferred in balanced proportions onto the circular disc, which combines the buttons with either the washbasin or the wall. Embracing straight as well as organic lines, the new buttons become eye-catching features and add an individual touch to the interior design.

All Dawn taps & fittings exhibit a strikingly narrow silhouette and combine this with spouts with straight and round geometries to create a range of different models. For the washing areas, stand fittings are available as mixers for single-handed operation in various heights, tap versions and lever positions. Stand and wall-mounted tap fittings are also available as three-hole mixers with a choice of operating buttons and wall-mounted tap fittings with a single-handed lever. Added to this are bidet taps with a swivel nozzle, seven shower fittings, including a thermostat, and five models for the bathtub. Dawn can be combined with many of the current bathroom collections from Villeroy & Boch, especially with premium collections such as Finion or Memento 2.0.

Pioneering technology

The Dawn range represents pioneering technology that is “Made in Europe”. The solid metal design with a chrome-plated surface and a high-quality ceramic cartridge ensure the products can be enjoyed for many years to come. The single-handed levers are easy to operate and a locking mechanism prevents the lever from coming into contact with the wall or the mirror behind the washbasin. The tap aerator in the spout ensures a water consumption of a mere 5 litres per minute.

Simple installation

The Dawn flush-mounted versions are installed using the universal Villeroy & Boch ViBox installation system, which can be used for all models and ensures a professional attachment of the fittings. All taps & fittings have a separate ring at the end of the body that also makes installation easier on surfaces that are not completely straight or flat.

The choice of models and mix & match options provided by Dawn open up considerable design freedom for all bathroom applications, especially in the project sector. Positioned in the upper mainstream segment, the range also impresses with its exceptional value for money.
