Shazam Gives Fans a Chance to Say “I’m With You” to the Red Hot Chili Peppers in Paris

New York, NY – August 1, 2011 - Shazam®, the world’s leading mobile discovery company, today announced it is giving one lucky Shazamer and their guest the trip of a lifetime to see the Red Hot Chilli Peppers perform live in Paris as part of its “Golden Tag” promotions.

Starting today, when fans in the US and Canada* use their iPhone and Android devices to Shazam RHCP’s new single, “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie,” they will receive a chance to enter and win a grand prize trip for two to Paris to see them in concert, including airfare and a two-night stay in a hotel.  The concert is in support of their new album, I’m with You, their first release since their 2006 multiple Grammy Award winning double-album, “Stadium Arcadium” and features former Warpaint guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.

The contest, which runs from today through midnight September 15th will also award five Shazamers with Red Hot Chili Peppers prize pack which includes the band’s new album, “I’m with You.”

Entering the Red Hot Chili Peppers “Golden Tag” promotion is easy!  All you have to do is:

  1. Activate Shazam Friends (via the Friends Tab in your Shazam App)
  2. Shazam “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie” between August 1, 2011 – September 15, 2011

It’s just that easy!  Winners will be selected on September 16, 2011.  Fans can follow the “Golden Tag” promotion on Facebook pages for Red Hot Chili Peppers and Shazam.
