Arctic Bath retains its MICHELIN Key for 2026

Arctic Bath in Harads, Sweden, has retained its MICHELIN Key in the MICHELIN Guide’s 2026 global hotel selection. For the second consecutive year, Arctic Bath is among Sweden’s 11 Key hotels and remains the only one located outside Stockholm.

The MICHELIN Guide announced its 2026 global Key selection on 18 September, recognising 2832 hotels around the world. For Arctic Bath, retaining the Key is above all a meaningful recognition of the experience created every day by the people behind the hotel, and of the place that continues to shape it.

Arctic Bath received its first MICHELIN Key in 2025. Located on the Lule River in Harads, the 12-room hotel brings together architecture, nature, food and SPA experiences in a setting that changes distinctly with the seasons.

The landscape, the seasons, our local partners and the culture and traditions are all woven into the experience we create for our guests. About the MICHELIN Key

The MICHELIN Key is the MICHELIN Guide’s distinction for hotels and is awarded following anonymous and independent inspections. Hotels are assessed according to five universal criteria, including architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, personality and character, value for money and contribution to their setting.
The 2026 global selection includes 2 832 MICHELIN Key hotels, of which 2 020 hold One Key, 657 Two Keys and 155 Three Keys. Sweden has 11 Key hotels in the 2026 selection.
