Press release -
The Success Story of Arctic Bath Continues
Arctic Bath, which first opened its doors in 2020, has quickly become a remarkable success story. Despite a challenging start the facility experienced continuous growth.
During the winter season, Arctic Bath has achieved high occupancy levels, with a majority of guests coming from international markets. The 2024/2025 season is shaping up to be record-breaking, both in terms of visitor numbers and the most positive reviews ever received.
The success is driven by a dedicated and skilled team. Many of our seasonal staff choose to return year after year, contributing to a strong and cohesive workforce. Our CEO, Klara Ranggård, who took on the role one year ago, leads the operation with great passion for our guests, employees, and sustainability issues. "We cherish the local culture and community as well as our unique Arctic nature. We are delighted to share it with our guests while ensuring we do not harm or overexploit it," says Klara Ranggård.
The restaurant at Arctic Bath has also experienced an exciting transformation under the leadership of Headchef David Staf. The dining experience is deeply rooted in northern Swedish traditions, blended with modern techniques and based on local ingredients as much as possible. The culinary team comprises talents from around the globe, and under the guidance of Restaurant Manager Saga Wallin, the dishes are presented in a grand style with elements of surprise and storytelling.
We are also pleased to welcome Lisa Johansson to our marketing and sales team starting in the fall of 2024.
Arctic Bath looks forward to continued growth and offering unique experiences in the heart of northern Sweden’s breathtaking nature.
