Areim acquires four light industrial properties in Gothenburg

Areim acquires four light industrial properties in Gothenburg through two deals totalling approximately 17,000 sqm lettable area. The properties are located in the Sävedalen and Landvetter Industrial areas. With these acquisitions, Areim expands its portfolio within the light industrial sector in Gothenburg to just under 42,000 sqm lettable area.

“We strongly believe in these areas and it feels exciting to continue building our portfolio within the light industry sector in Gothenburg. The acquisition further strengthens our position in Gothenburg, which is completely in line with our strategy,” says Jesper Warén, Head of Light Industrial Investments Sweden, Areim.

The properties are let to a mix of attractive tenants. With the acquisition, Areim expands the Swedish light industrial portfolio in Greater Stockholm, Uppsala, and Greater Gothenburg to include more than 50 properties with a total lettable area of approximately 210,000 sqm. This portfolio also includes a significant volume of unused building rights as well as the ongoing development of new buildings.

The sellers are Corem and two private individuals.
