The 23/24 Atomic Race-Season: A Journey of Triumphs and Challenges

The Atomic season began with a seismic announcement from slalom World Cup champion Lucas Braathen, who declared his withdrawal from the upcoming season just days before the start in Sölden, leaving the ski world in shock.

Amidst the highs and lows, Mikaela Shiffrin and Manuel Feller emerged as standout performers, achieving remarkable feats throughout the season. Together, they secured 11 out of 20 slalom race victories, with Feller tripling his World Cup victories and Shiffrin resiliently clinching podium finishes despite a challenging recovery from injury.

Shiffrin's achievements include adding to her impressive collection of World Cup globes, while Feller celebrated his first crystal globe, marking a career milestone.

However, the season also witnessed moments of adversity, with several Atomic athletes facing setbacks on the slopes. Nonetheless, the team rallied, securing an impressive 50 podium finishes and 17 victories across various disciplines, showcasing the resilience and determination of Atomic athletes.

Noteworthy highlights include double victories by Feller and Marco Schwarz in Gurgl, podium successes by Sofia Goggia, Nicol Delago, and Mirjam Puchner in Zauchensee, and historic achievements by emerging talents like Elvedina Muzaferija and Maja Waroschitz.

As the season draws to a close, Atomic looks ahead with optimism and determination, setting the tone for the next season with the rallying cry, "Vamos dançar!"
