From skis to shells – Atomic’s new apparel line rooted in ski culture
(Altenmarkt, Austria, October 2025) Drawing on over 70 years of experience in ski equipment, Atomic is taking a bold new direction in outerwear for Winter 2025/26. Developed from the ground up to meet the specific demands of performance-driven skiers, the new Redster and Revent lines were created in-house in the Austrian Alps – in close collaboration with Atomic’s race service teams, athletes, and design experts. The collection is tailored to the needs of those who spend the most time on snow: professionals, piste-focused skiers, and all-mountain riders. It combines functional design with a refined on-piste aesthetic, durable materials, and a fit that works in motion – shaped by those who know skiing best.
Redster 3L Insulated Jacket & Pant – Engineered for peak on-piste performance
Redster stands for Atomic’s highest level of on-piste performance. In outerwear, that means uncompromising functionality, durability, and weather protection. Built with the needs of Atomic’s race technicians in mind, the Redster 3L Insulated set delivers resilience, warmth, and precision in demanding alpine conditions. Both the jacket and pant feature PFC-free Atomic 3LAYR Protect fabric (20,000 mm waterproof rating), body-mapped Thermore® EcoDown insulation with a high warmth-to-weight ratio, and pre-shaped Hyperfit zones for unrestricted movement. Designed for daily use, the jacket features ventilation zippers, a helmet-compatible hood, a powder skirt, and ski pass pocket. The pant features thigh vents, powder cuffs, a removable bib, and reinforced panels – purpose-built for skiers who demand full-day performance in all weather conditions.
Revent 2L Insulated Jacket & Pant – all-day performance, streamlined aesthetic
The Revent 2L Insulated line – available in men's and women's fits – brings technical functionality to the piste with a clean, minimalist look. Made from Atomic’s 2LAYR Move fabric and PrimaLoft® Silver Eco insulation, the jacket and pants provide reliable warmth and waterproof protection with a modern aesthetic. The Atomic Hyperfit construction with articulated patterning ensures natural freedom of movement. Features like integrated ventilation, a ski pass pocket, a powder skirt plus Cordura reinforcements, and removable suspenders on the pants make this line ideal for dynamic all-mountain skiing.
Revent Puff & Snowcloud Puff Jackets – style-forward insulation for on-snow and everyday use
Blending street-ready styling with ski-specific performance, the Revent Puff Jacket (men) and Snowcloud Puff Jacket (women) are relaxed-fit, insulated puffer jackets designed for versatility on and off the mountain. Featuring lofty Thermore® EcoDown 2.0 insulation and recycled Pertex® Mini Ripstop outer fabrics, they offer reliable warmth, weather protection, and thoughtful ski-day features like powder skirts and pass pockets. Whether on the lift or around town, these pieces deliver comfort without compromise.
Materials and Fit Technology – LAYR series and Hyperfit
Atomic structures its outerwear fabrics into three categories to meet the varied demands of skiing:
- Protect: Robust 3-layer materials providing maximum waterproofing and durability for extreme weather.
- Move: Stretch materials that combine reliable weather protection with mobility for high-motion activities.
- Active: Lightweight softshells offering breathability, stretch and weather protection for high-output pursuits.
These materials are paired with Atomic’s proprietary Hyperfit design that mimics and supports natural skiing movements through pre-shaped zones.
