The Atomic Impact Statement documents the brand’s journey to being a leader in sustainability

Inside the Numbers: How Atomic Measures and Reduces Its Impact on Climate and the Environment

(Altenmarkt, Austria, February 2026) Atomic has released its Impact Statement 2025, marking the third annual report outlining the brand’s climate strategy, decarbonization progress, and broader sustainability initiatives. The report provides a detailed look at how Atomic is addressing its environmental footprint while building the foundations to meet its commitment to Science Based Targets, including a 60% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions and a 25% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2030.

At the heart of the new report is a commitment to transparency and continuous improvement – a principle that guides Atomic’s climate journey and its role in shaping more sustainable practices across the winter sports sector.

Among the achievements from 2025:

90% Reduction in Scope 2 Emissions

Atomic achieved a 90% drop in Scope 2 emissions by transitioning its Bulgarian production site to 100% renewable electricity – a major step toward the brand’s near-term decarbonization targets.

Life Cycle Assessments Across All Product Lines

By completing LCAs for every product category, Atomic now has a clearer understanding of its material impacts. This enabled a strategic reduction in CO₂-equivalent emissions throughout many products by eliminating high-impact materials from new constructions. In 2025 a 24% reduction (GWP Raw Materials) was achieved in the new Maverick skis.

Leadership Beyond Operations

Atomic continues to lead the Ski Industry Climate Summit, a cross-sector platform for climate collaboration launched by the brand in 2023. Atomic also strengthens its advocacy efforts as a proud supporter of Protect Our Winters Europe, working to amplify impact beyond its own footprint.

“As passionate skiers who call the mountains home, we’re used to seeing the landscape change season by season. But warmer winters, a rising snowline, and more frequent extremes are now constant reminders of the accelerating impact of the climate crisis, a crisis that is reshaping the natural world and the future of our sport.

Our direction remains clear: drastically reduce emissions, stay transparent, and design high-performance products with a lower footprint. There is still a long way to go, but I am proud of how our teams, athletes, and partners continue to step up with purpose.”
