CURSE OF SKINWALKER RANCH (S2)

Tuesdays from 17 August at 20:30

While most look to the stars for extraterrestrial life, one group of researchers is doing the opposite: they're looking underground. For more than 200 years, Utah's Skinwalker Ranch has been the site of hundreds of paranormal and UFO activities. Despite decades of study - some secretly funded by the U.S. government-- no one has dared to go below ground. Now, the legendary ranch is giving full access as a team prepares to do what's never been done before.

The series features a team of scientists and experts who will conduct a thorough search of this infamous 512-acre property located in Utah’s Uinta Basin. Utilising cutting-edge technology, from lasers and ground-penetrating radar to drone thermography and more, the team will apply hard science in an attempt to find out the ‘who?’, ‘what?’ and ‘why?’ behind more than200 years of UFO sightings, bizarre animal mutilations and mysteries. Follow the team as they make shocking discoveries while going further and risking more than anyone has done on the ranch before. (10x60”) Part of Summer of Secrets.

CURSE OF THE LOST AMAZON GOLD

Continues Tuesdays at 21:25

Six investigators continue their hunt for a city of gold and the explorers who vanished trying to find it.

In the 1980s, three different explorers set out to find the rumoured cities of Akakor and Akahim in the Amazon jungle. And one by one, they disappeared. This series follows six international investigators on an epic real-life expedition into the Amazon jungle on the hunt for the two lost cities and what happened to the explorers who went missing. Their journey will begin in the dark jungles of Peru, east of the Andes, where Akakor is said to be located. Then they’ll move the expedition to northern Brazil – the rumoured site of Akahim, and where the explorers went missing. The deeper they delve into the jungle, the stranger and darker the mystery becomes. Finally, their search for answers will take them face to face with the only man who may know the truth. Part of Summer of Secrets.
