BKtech Builds for the Future – 15 Meters Lifting Height and 160 Tons Capacity
In Blomstermåla, in the heart of Småland, BKtech is assembling advanced energy centers ready for delivery to customers across Europe. These modular energy systems typically include a boiler house, steam boiler, wood pellet burner, control systems, flue gas treatment, and ash handling. By prefabricating the plants in modules, BKtech ensures efficient project execution, consistent high quality, and cost-effective, competitive solutions for its clients.
“Thanks to our in-house assembly facility, we can increase both efficiency and quality. Our customers are also welcome to visit during the construction phase and attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) before final delivery,” says Johan Jaensson, Managing Director at BK Tech Production. “The new building height now allows us to prefabricate even our largest 15 MW energy center model”.
The energy center modules are designed with precision to allow road transport across Europe — all the way to southern destinations.
“Our goal is to give customers the best possible conditions to focus on their core business, even as they transition from fossil fuels like oil and fossil gas to fossil-free energy production using wood pellets,” says Jan Vikström, CEO of BK Tech Group.
“We are making a major investment in the European market, where the shift to renewable energy is still in its early stages and production capacities are generally larger. This means we are now delivering larger energy centers — both in megawatt capacity and physical size — to meet the growing demand for steam generation. These developments require continued investment in our Blomstermåla factory as we build for the future,” concludes Jan.
The local municipality has now completed its final inspection, and the expanded production hall is officially in operation.
