Hagab’s Online Store Elevates the Customer Experience

Hagab, the customer-focused ventilation company, has taken a major digital step forward via its online store. One year after its launch, the e-commerce platform has been favourably received by both customers and employees. The project is the result of a close collaboration between Hagab, Dear Friends, Connect Companies, and the powerful integration engine Blue Integrator.

Easier for Customers, More Efficient for Hagab
The driving force behind the online store was the need to create a smooth and seamless process for both customers and internal teams. In a traditionally conservative industry where orders were often handled via phone, fax, and email, Hagab wanted to offer a modern solution that enabled customers to place orders when it suited them.

"It’s about making everyday life easier for our customers, but also about streamlining our own processes to ensure we save time and offer excellent service and a quality customer experience," says Sophie Jergell at Hagab.

To ensure an optimal user experience, the project was built using the template of Hagab’s existing website. Familiarity and intuitive navigation were key.

"There’s not a huge leap between the website and the online store, which means customers immediately feel at home," explains Jergell.

A Smart Technical Solution for Smooth Business Processes
A central part of the success lies in the integration developed by Connect Companies, where the existing business system was fully integrated into a seamless solution. Using Blue Integrator, data from various systems could be synchronized, streamlining the information flow and minimizing the risk of errors.

"Connect Companies really understood both the design process and our specific requirements, this meant we had great dialogue throughout the roll out. It has been, and continues to be, a very successful collaboration," says Jergell.

One key improvement was the development of a smarter freight calculation feature. The shipping process now requires less manual work and has greater system support. Customers receive an instant shipping cost estimate directly to their cart, making life easier for both the sales team and customers.

Customer Feedback
Customer reactions confirm the platform is hitting the mark.

"It’s really easy to use. The most important thing is being able to get quick pricing and see orders and quotes.”

When asked how likely they are to recommend the platform to a colleague, one customer gave the top rating:

"10! I’d recommend it to everyone."

The successful of the online store has also been reflected in sales, which are greatly exceeding expectations.

A Boost for the Entire Company
The online store has simplified life not only for customers but for Hagab’s internal operations as well. The collaboration with Connect Companies and the deployment of Blue Integrator have been key to building a future-proofed and flexible solution.

"Our goal was to create a positive and unique buying experience, not just another e-commerce site. Our customers really appreciate the intuitive navigation and its overall simplicity," Jergell concludes.
