From Conflict Zones to Disaster Areas: Bluewater Delivers Military-Grade Water Security
Bluewater Emergency Water Station, now procured by the Swedish Armed Forces, delivers up to 20,000 litres of safe drinking water daily from heavily contaminated sources – all from a system packed into two deployable cases.
PARIS, France, June 12, 2026 – As military planners, civil defense agencies, and emergency responders confront an era defined by conflict, climate-driven disasters, and infrastructure vulnerabilities, one challenge remains constant: securing safe drinking water when conventional systems fail. At EUROSATORY 2026, Swedish water technology innovator Bluewater will demonstrate a breakthrough solution designed specifically for that reality.
Bluewater will exhibit on Stand A70 in Hall 4 at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre from June 15-19, showcasing its Emergency Water Station. This highly mobile water purification platform produces up to 20,000 liters of safe drinking water per day. It works even with contaminated, uncertain, or compromised water sources.
Live demonstrations will run throughout the exhibition, allowing defense, security, and emergency management professionals to see firsthand how the system transforms polluted water into drinking water within minutes and experience the quality of the purified water themselves.
Built for the frontlines of crisis response, the Bluewater Emergency Water Station compresses industrial-scale purification capability into two rugged transportable cases that can be rapidly deployed wherever clean water infrastructure is absent, damaged, or destroyed.
Whether supporting military operations, civil defense preparedness, humanitarian relief missions, field hospitals, border security deployments, or disaster recovery efforts, the system provides a critical operational capability: immediate access to safe drinking water at the point of need.
“Water is not simply a humanitarian requirement. It is a strategic resource that directly impacts operational readiness, resilience, and mission success,” said Bluewater CEO and founder Bengt Rittri. “The Emergency Water Station was engineered to provide military forces, civil defense organizations, and emergency responders with a rapidly deployable water security solution capable of operating in some of the world’s most challenging environments.”
At the heart of the system is Bluewater’s proprietary three-stage purification technology. Contaminated water first passes through advanced sediment filtration and activated carbon treatment before reaching a high-performance reverse osmosis membrane that removes contaminants down to 0.0001 microns. The process eliminates bacteria, viruses, toxic chemicals, heavy metals, and other dangerous pollutants while delivering exceptionally pure drinking water from even highly compromised sources.
Designed around the realities faced by first responders and deployed forces, the station combines high output with operational simplicity. The compact platform can be transported by small teams, deployed rapidly in remote locations, and operated with minimal infrastructure requirements, significantly reducing logistical dependence on bottled water supply chains.
Its rugged design has already proven itself in real-world crisis environments. Prior to launch, the Emergency Water Station was field-tested in a hospital operating in a conflict zone in Ukraine and in flood-stricken Swedish communities where severe weather had contaminated water supplies with raw sewage. In both cases, the system demonstrated its ability to consistently deliver safe drinking water under extreme conditions.
Growing confidence in the technology is reflected in increasing international demand. The Emergency Water Station has attracted strong interest from humanitarian organizations, emergency response agencies, and defense stakeholders worldwide, including procurement by the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Civil Defense Authority.
Bluewater representatives Lisa Helles, Key Account Manager, alongside technical support manager Justus Aarts, and Johan Soderstrom, Project Lead, will be available on Stand A70, Hall 4, throughout EUROSATORY to discuss operational deployments, military applications, resilience planning, and emergency preparedness strategies.
For defense leaders, logistics commanders, civil protection agencies, and disaster response professionals attending EUROSATORY 2026, the Bluewater Emergency Water Station offers a glimpse into the future of expeditionary water security: a capability that can travel anywhere, deploy rapidly, and deliver one of the most essential resources for survival, resilience, and mission success.
