The audiobook service BookBeat’s growth journey continues. During the first half of 2025, the number of paying users increased by 16 percent compared to the same period last year, surpassing the milestone of 1.1 million. At the same time, revenues rose by 15 percent. June saw the highest influx of new users ever in Sweden, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

For the streaming service BookBeat, 2024 was the most successful year in the company's history to date. Growth amounted to 21 percent for the full year, landing at SEK 1.36 billion. The company also reported a positive EBITA result for the first time since its inception in 2015. In September, the goal of one million paying users per month was also achieved.
BookBeat has now launched in France, making it the 13th core market for the platform. BookBeat has already signed a strategic partnership with Hachette Livre, the number one publishing group in France. At the same time, BookBeat will launch a new offer in UK, offering three packages from 20 to 100 hours of listening every month, starting at 5,99£.
