The auction at 3 pm on 2 December takes a long and interesting journey through history: from miniature portraits of the Russian Imperial family, through modern art made during the post-war period to unique antiques from Fabergé.

  • Cassette Tape with Lennon Interview Just Sold at Auction

    A never before released cassette tape with an interview of John Lennon and Yoko Ono was sold at auction on Tuesday night at Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers. The tape was made during the couple’s winter visit to Thy in Northern Jutland in 1970. The hammer price landed on DKK 481,000 / EUR 64,700 / USD 75,500 (including buyer’s premium).

  • The Canary and the Panther: Exclusive Diamond Rings at Auction

    The sought-after canary yellow diamond is with its natural colour extremely expensive. A yellow diamond ring of no less than 6.49 ct. is up for auction at Bruun Rasmussen 23 September together with the iconic diamond and emerald covered panther ring by Cartier.

  • Two Coveted Watches by Visionary Designer Gérald Genta at Auction

    The swiss designer Gérald Genta is behind some of the most iconic wristwatches in history, and two highly coveted watches are up for auction at Bruun Rasmussen 29 September. One is the rare Audemars Piguet, estimated at DKK 600,000-800,000, and the other is the luxurious Patek Philippe estimated at DKK 150,000-200,000.

  • Never Before Published Cassette Tape with Lennon Interview up for Auction

    A never before published cassette tape with an interview with John Lennon and Yoko Ono from their winter stay in Thy, Northern Jutland in 1970 will be up for auction at Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers. The recording includes a conversation between the couple and four 16-year-old schoolboys, and the never published song “Radio Peace” is also played. The estimated price is DKK 200,000-300,000.

  • Chinese Ming Dish Sets Record Hammer Price at Bruun Rasmussen: Sold for EUR 6.2 million / USD 7.6 million (including buyer’s premium)

    A Chinese Ming porcelain dish achieved a hammer price of a staggering DKK 46.2 million / EUR 6.2 million / USD 7.6 million (including buyer’s premium) when it was sold at auction at the Danish auction house Bruun Rasmussen on Wednesday afternoon on 2 June. It therefore also became the most expensive lot ever sold in the history of the auction house.
