Camfil Australia’s Opakfil ES Maintains Works with WELL™ Designation
Camfil Australia is pleased to confirm that our compact V-Bank air filter, Opakfil ES, has successfully maintained its Works with WELL™ designation. This program, developed by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), recognises products that align with WELL strategies based on IWBI licensing criteria. By achieving the Works with WELL trademarks, companies can demonstrate their commitment to advancing products and solutions that support human health and well-being.
Jack Noonan, Senior Vice President and Head of Asia Pacific Region, IWBI, says, "Congratulations to Camfil on this sustained achievement, as it continues to demonstrate market leadership. The Works with WELL program was designed to help manufacturers demonstrate that their products provide building owners and operators with trusted solutions that promote the health and well-being within the built environment, supporting the global WELL Standard."
Opakfil ES continues to meet stringent performance criteria, including:
- High Energy Efficiency: Designed to minimise energy consumption, contributing to sustainable building operations.
- Low Pressure Drop: Ensures efficient airflow, reducing strain on HVAC systems.
- High Dust Holding Capacity: Extends filter life and reduces maintenance needs.
- Compliance with ISO 16890: Available in ePM1 and ePM10 efficiencies, ensuring effective particulate filtration.
These features make Opakfil ES a reliable choice for applications where air quality and energy efficiency are important.
Jonathan Bunge, Managing Director of Camfil Australia, explains that "Maintaining the certification reinforces Camfil’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-performance filtration solutions that provide healthier and more sustainable indoor environments." He also notes that Camfil is actively working to further expand the range of WELL-Certified solutions available to customers.
Bunge also serves as a Commissioner on the Global Commission for Healthy Indoor Air, a newly launched, high-level coalition of more than 170 international leaders aimed at transforming policies and accelerating innovation to improve global indoor air quality, formed by IWBI.
Camfil’s commitment to protect people, processes, and the environment by defining, developing, and delivering solutions that combine clean air with energy efficiency in a sustainable and profitable way continues to guide our work. This mission ensures that Camfil provides trusted air filtration solutions that contribute to healthier, safer, and more sustainable indoor environments.
