Camfil earns recognition in Malaysia for advancing energy-efficient air filtration
Camfil Malaysia's Opakfil ES air filter has won the MARVEX Excellence Award 2026, marking the company's third consecutive win in one of Malaysia’s key exhibitions for the HVAC industry. The award highlights the Opakfil ES filter's ability to reduce energy consumption while maintaining high filtration performance.
“We are honoured to receive the MARVEX Excellence Award 2026. It recognises our commitment to bringing innovative, energy-efficient filtration to Malaysia that protects people, improves building operations and reduces environmental impact,” said Fam Wee Chean, General Manager, Camfil Malaysia.
Opakfil ES is a next-generation compact air filter offering high dust-holding capacity, low energy consumption and extended service life for efficient HVAC operation. It is classified under ISO 16890 and features Eurovent Certified Performance, with energy ratings varying by model.
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) based on life cycle assessment (LCA) are available for selected models manufactured at Camfil’s Malaysian plant in Asia-Pacific (APAC), detailing environmental impacts across the product life cycle to inform purchasing decisions.
