Camfil Launches a CPD certified “Lunch and Learn” Programme to Empower Consultant Engineers and Design Houses throughout EMEA
Stockholm, Sweden — January 20th — Camfil, a global leader in clean air solutions, is proud to announce the official launch of its new Lunch and Learn programme across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The initiative is designed to support consultant engineers, designers, and building professionals in making informed decisions about air quality requirements in building development and refurbishment projects.
The programme offers expert-led, on-site or virtual learning sessions—scheduled during lunch hours to ensure minimal disruption and maximum convenience. Each session delivers practical insights into the latest standards, emerging technologies, and best practices influencing clean air management in modern buildings.
As part of the programme launch, Camfil has developed an initial series of four core sessions, each addressing a key area of filtration and indoor air quality expertise:
1.Understanding the Indoor Air Quality of Your Building Development or Refurbishment
A foundational session covering EN16798-3, ISO 16890, outdoor air quality assessment, building purpose classifications, air changes, energy performance guidance (Eurovent 4/21), and upgrade strategies using ducted filter housings.
2.Understanding HEPA Filtration for Controlled Environments
A deep dive into HEPA filter technology, performance classifications, testing methods, leakage control, and design considerations for cleanrooms, laboratories, healthcare facilities, and high-spec industrial applications.
3.Considerations When Specifying Dust Extraction Systems
Focused on industrial process safety and efficiency, this session explores dust characteristics, filtration technologies, system sizing, ATEX considerations, maintenance strategies, and compliance requirements for dust collection solutions.
4.Understanding Molecular Contaminants — Odours, Corrosive Gases, Toxic Chemicals and Irritants
An essential guide to identifying and mitigating gas-phase pollutants, including the selection of molecular media, classification of contaminants, corrosion risk assessment, and real-world strategies for odour and gas-phase control.
“As building requirements continue to evolve, it’s essential that engineers and designers have access to reliable, industry-leading guidance,” Marco Fiori, VP for sales and marketing “Our Lunch and Learn programme brings applied expertise directly to our customers, giving them clarity and confidence when navigating the complex landscape of air quality and filtration standards, all over a nice lunch.”
The programme underscores Camfil’s commitment to education, innovation, and partnership within all business sectors to enhance air quality in a sustainably driven way. Sessions are tailored to the needs and experience levels of the attending organisation and encourage open discussion and practical learning.
