    马纳普里湖被誉为新西兰最美湖泊之一。它位于世界著名的峡湾国家公园内,属于联合国教科文组织世界遗产保护区的一部分,同时也是世界上水质最为清澈的湖泊之一。马纳普里湖还是Meridian能源公司的马纳普里水电站所在地,该水电站每年生产的电力足以供应超过60万个普通新西兰家庭,在该国水电储能系统中扮演着关键角色。
