The year started with a real stress test for us at Candela. The boat shows were cancelled, and the order inflow stopped as the world battled the pandemic. But in the past month, we have sold no less than 10 boats.

This is all thanks to your unending support during our recently finished European Lakes Tour, where hundreds of fans showed up for test drives at 11 different locations. Sales have also been boosted by great press. The Candela Seven and its revolutionary electric foiling technology has featured prominently in dozens of publications, from heavy hitters like the Süddeutsche Zeitung to international news agencies like Reuters.

Given that our original sales target for the year was 25 boats, the main challenge is now to speed up production at our Lidingö factory.
