HDX Satellite Connectivity System Installation on Airbus A319
AMAC Aerospace is proud to announce the first installation of the HDX satellite connectivity system. The system was installed on an Airbus A319 belonging to a long term customer at our hangars in Basel, Switzerland. This upgrade sets a new standard for passenger experience and in-flight connectivity with the advanced Gogo Galileo HDX system.
The Ku-band antenna features electronically steerable phased array (ESA) technology and is more compact than traditional Ka-band antennas. It fits into a smaller, flatter radome. This design reduces overall aircraft weight and drag while providing seamless, high-performance connectivity. Passengers can enjoy uninterrupted access to video conferencing, streaming and other data-intensive applications on multiple devices.
