Maintenance Performed on Gulfstream G450, G550 and G650 Aircraft
AMAC Aerospace’s dedicated hangar for mid-size jets in Basel, Switzerland, continues to welcome Gulfstream aircraft for maintenance services. These services include both drop-in and scheduled maintenance.
During the summer months, a privately owned Gulfstream G650 came in for a due maintenance package and cosmetic cabin work. Shortly thereafter, a Gulfstream G450, owned by a head of state, underwent landing gear replacement, an engine change, and EVAS (emergency vision assurance system) deactivation. Another privately owned Gulfstream G650 arrived on drop-in notice for flap roller change, and a recurrent customer’s Gulfstream G550 came for due maintenance and an annual base maintenance check.
AMAC Aerospace’s team also traveled to Le Bourget, France, to provide AOG support for a Gulfstream G650 owned by a head of state. Thanks to the team’s fast intervention, they rectified the issue and managed to have the aircraft back in service within two days.
Many of the recently performed Gulfstream projects have been on G650 aircraft. Alexis Ott, Director Sales & Key Account Management, said: "More and more G650s are choosing to work with AMAC Aerospace. This is due to the fact that the aircraft are out of warranty, which enables owners to search for MRO providers outside of the Gulfstream network.”
