Starlink Installation on Airbus ACJ 318 and Gulfstream G550
Starlink installations are highly requested connectivity solutions, and in May, two new aircraft were equipped with the solution at AMAC Aerospace Basel, Switzerland.
One of the aircraft was an Airbus ACJ 318 that underwent maintenance and modifications during the same stop. In addition to the Starlink installation, the aircraft underwent C1, C2 and C3 checks, as well as a carpet change and countertop modification. Additionally, HDMI and USB-C ports were installed.
The second aircraft, a Gulfstream G550, also came for both maintenance and modifications. It underwent an annual inspection, had the Starlink installed, received an oven replacement, as well as HUD (head-up display) and EVS (enhanced vision system) deactivation modifications. Lastly, the aircraft received a full paint polish.
