Material Support at GAMIT

Press release -

Record-Breaking Year in Material Support for GAMIT

Stansted, UK, 17.11.2025 – GAMIT achieved its highest-ever volume of aircraft spare-parts deliveries in 2025, marking a 32% increase in global part and component support for both VIP and commercial operators compared to 2024. This exceptional growth was fuelled by the expansion of their logistics and material-supply capabilities across Airbus and Boeing platforms, supported by several high-volume, long-term contracts with MRO organizations and airline partners worldwide.

A key driver of this success was GAMIT’s strengthened repair-management program, leveraging their technical expertise and partnerships with leading landing-gear and engine MROs. Throughout the year, GAMIT oversaw major component repairs and overhauls, ensuring projects were delivered on time and within budget, supported by weekly client updates, on-site technical oversight during overhaul processes and final acceptance testing.

Landing Gear Programme Achievements

Completed in 2025

GAMIT successfully managed the completion of:

2 × Boeing 737-NG landing-gear shipset overhauls
4 × Airbus A320 landing-gear shipset overhauls
2 × Bombardier platform landing-gear shipset overhauls

Secured for 2026

Building on this momentum, GAMIT has already secured:

3 × Boeing 737-NG landing-gear shipset overhauls
2 × Bombardier platform landing-gear shipset overhauls
1 × Airbus A330 landing-gear shipset overhaul

Engine & APU Repair Management

In 2025, GAMIT also delivered several major engine and APU repair projects, including:

2x CFM56-5 engine repairs
2x CFM56-7 AGB (Accessory Gearbox) modifications
1x overhaul of an Airbus Honeywell APU and repair of a Pratt & Whitney APU

These programmes highlight our expanding capability in complex engine-related repair management and our continued commitment to technical excellence.

Support for Fleet Modernisation

During 2025, GAMIT played a vital role in supporting one of our long-standing commercial operator clients through their fleet transition from the Boeing 737-Classic to the Boeing 737-NG. This included identifying critical parts, establishing a tailored rotable consignment programme and building a strategic support stock to minimise operational interruption and reduce AOG-related delays.

VIP & Head-of-State Project Growth

GAMIT continued to deliver its hallmark premium service to VIP, Head-of-State, and special-mission operators. In 2025, they supported multiple confidential high-profile programmes across a variety of platforms, supplying bespoke components, consumables, and project-management oversight for complex cabin completion and refurbishment activities.

Their involvement extended beyond the completion phase, providing ongoing part support to maintain the unique cabin systems once aircraft returned to service across three continents. These programmes demonstrated GAMIT’s ability to manage intricate, highly customised requirements with precision and confidentiality.

To strengthen both commercial and VIP support, GAMIT continued investing in strategic inventory growth for Boeing and Airbus platforms. Stock is now positioned across the UK, Switzerland, and Turkey, enabling faster response times and enhanced worldwide availability.

Looking Ahead to 2026

With another record-setting year behind us, GAMIT remains focused on delivering agile, quality-driven solutions in material supply, consultancy, lease-transition support, repair management, and digital aircraft records services. Our commitment to operational excellence and customer-first service continues to drive our growth into 2026 and beyond.
