Bringing new light to historic learning environments ✨ Böskolan in Gothenburg, an elementary school dating back to the late 19th century, has undergone a thoughtful lighting transformation – proving how smart, sustainable solutions can elevate even the most traditional spaces. The renovation included 180 units of Fagerhult’s Wrapped pendant luminaires, replacing older lighting with a modern, energy‑efficient system designed for long‑term performance. Wrapped’s innovative cardboard frame makes it lightweight, easy to install, and significantly lower in climate impact – all while providing a stable, pleasant light environment perfectly suited for learning environments. In addition to Wrapped, Notor 65 Asymmetric now light up the boards, a large number of Allfive for is used for craft and school rooms, and Discovery, Multilume Slim and Dwide for offices, corridors and public areas. This project is a great example of how sustainable luminaire design, efficient controls and premium lighting qualities come together to create healthy and inspiring environments for the next generation. 👉 Discover more about the project - link in bio.

Nobel Week Lights is a celebration of creativity and connection – showing how light can transform spaces and spark new perspectives. For three years as Principal Partners, we’ve been part of this journey, experiencing installations that turn light into art. Maja Salinder and Henrik Clausen define our approach to lighting in our Experience Center — an approach driven by the same curiosity and care that shape all our work with light. We invite architects, interior designers, electrical consultants, installers, property owners, and lighting designers to join us at Fagerhult and explore the endless possibilities of light. Today is Circular Monday – a day that reminds us that smart reuse makes a difference. In the Smedjan parking garage, Jönköping Municipality chose to upgrade existing luminaires with LED technology and smart controls instead of replacing them. The result? Up to 80% less material waste, preserved architecture, and a solution that is both energy-efficient and sustainable.
