Sigma has taken note of this and is launching the Experts of Tomorrow Innovation Race. An innovation competition for all middle school students in Sweden. To inspire them to find the joy and playfulness of technology and innovations.

    Teaching Coding and Inspiring Girls Online with Skool

    ​Skool, a non-profit organization in Hungary that inspires girls to choose technology for their future, usually arranges physical events and workshops, programming boot camps, and mentoring sessions. The quarantine and lockdown period didn’t stop them in their mission of spreading knowledge and inspiration. This May, we took part in the first online workshop for girls together with Skool.

    Skool Makes Technology Attractive for Girls in Hungary

    Encouraging girls to choose technology as a possible career – this is the vision of the Skool project, the initiative started by the Technology in Education Foundation, Hungary, Budapest. We have gotten a chance to meet the co-founder of the project and CEO Szilvi Koleszár, and Péter Guzsaly, Unicorn Whisperer.

    Sigma satsar på utbildning av unga kodare tillsammans med Kodcentrum

    Utbildning, jämställdhet och mångfald är tre utmaningar, och i förlängningen möjligheter, som Sigma identifierat för att säkra kompetens till att driva det svenska IT-undret framåt. Sigma går därför in som huvudsponsor till Kodcentrum, en förening som introducerar programmering och digitalt skapande för 9–13-åringar och skapar möjligheter för nästa generations kodare i Sverige.
