Yanmar Power Solutions, a group company of Yanmar Holdings, has announced plans to build a new factory in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, to support the development and testing of next-generation marine hydrogen engines. Scheduled to begin operations in March 2029, the facility will strengthen production capabilities and advance alternative-fuel powertrains for a decarbonized future.

Yanmar Holdings has signed an agreement with Faeger to purchase JCM carbon credits generated in the Philippines through the adoption of Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) in rice farming.
