Yanmar, a leading technology innovator and manufacturer of industrial machinery, has held a month of activities in support of International Women's Day and Diversity & Inclusion in the Yanmar Group.
The Yamaoka Scholarship Foundation, established by Yanmar’s founder Magokichi Yamaoka, provides scholarships to disadvantaged youth, while the Yamaoka Hanasaka Academy which was established in 2016, seeks to provide both academic and sporting opportunities. At separate awards ceremonies on June 13 and 14, school students were awarded scholarships to support their studies and sporting ambitions.
